Days Forty-Five and Forty-Six

DAY FORTY-FIVE

Oh this weekend has just been terrible overall. I've had far too many social events, which are such a big downfall for me.

Food:

Breakfast: Optifast chocolate shake
Lunch: Optifast cappuccino bar
Snack: homemade guacamole
Dinner: Roast vegetables (sweet potato, onion and parsnip) with a side salad
Dessert: upside down pear cake with a scoop of ice cream.
Drinks: water, green tea, red wine (1 small glass)


Exercise:

One hour at the gym. Started with 20 mins on the exercise bike to warm up. Then I did 10 minutes of medicine ball exercises and push-ups. Then I finished with half an hour on the treadmill, as follows: 5 mins walking, 20 minutes of intervals (80 seconds for each interval, alternating between walking at 6.3km/hr and jogging at 8.5km/hr), 5 minute cool down.


DAY FORTY-SIX

Another bad day food-wise. I went to a friend's place for a BBQ, so there was an assortment of lots of wonderful food yet again.

Food:

Breakfast: Optifast chocolate shake
Lunch: Roast pumpkin salad, roast field mushrooms and onion
Dessert: small piece of chocolate cake, small piece of apple/rhubarb pie and 2 macaroons
Dinner: Optifast chocolate shake
Drinks: water, red wine (1 small glass), diet soft drink

Exercise:

Half an hour at the gym. I started with a 10 minute warm up on the exercise bike and then followed up with 20 minutes on the cross trainer doing intervals (between level 5 and 8 for 80 seconds each).
