Kristen, i just wanted to commend you on your bravery and honesty. It is really hard being honest with your self when confronting a weight loss program, but i can't imagine how tough it is bearing for all to see. Well done. I wish you all the best on your "new health life style program". You have mentioned a few times that you wouldn't mind some feeback, so maybe i could give you some outsiders opinions. I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I have read your blog and thought, maybe she could try this, or maybe if she did this.... First - ONE thing you could do is tweek your excercise program/regime. I know you mentioned shin problems, but you really really need to get your tooshie moving. REALLY. One hour of heart pumping rocky style stuff. Sweat and tears heart break huffing and puffing. You need to do seven hours a week. As a 27 year old women should be able to do this. Look how many hours are in the week, 7 hours is not too much ...I did a rough calculation from about day 1 to day 25 and you had done about 5 or so hours. Which is roughly one hour each working week. TRUE it is better than nothing, but that is about it....Not great. Considering it took 1.5 hours to buy your running shoes. Truthfully i am not being nasty, facts are facts. You need to burn calories, increase metabolism, and reduce the likely hood of losing muscle mass . Excercise will also improve your mood. Promise. You have mentioned being a bit down of late. I swear to you, after a run, you won't regret it. You will feel like wonder woman how can do anything. I know you can do it. Most often it is your mind telling you you can't. Youf brain is the one telling you you can't do it, not the other way around. Be sure to also keep up the weight and strength training. TWO - employ professionals. You go to the hairdresses to cut your hair, and seamstress to take our jeans up, so why not hire a personal trainer once a week to set up a program for you. And maybe consult a dietician or doctor for a good sustainable program ??? i really do wish you all the best and look forward to seeing all the good progress. I look forward to your posts, and just have faith that u can do well.
