Well I'm well and truly on the home stretch now. 61 days down and over 7kg gone for good. I can't help but be happy with that. If you had told me only two months ago that if I put my head down and did some hard work I would lose 7kg and be fitting into so many more clothes, I'm not sure if I would have believed you.
If anyone else out there is thinking about embarking on this journey - do it now! What's holding you back from starting?!? Seriously, we can always find an excuse to put off losing weight, but the sooner you start, the sooner it will be gone.
Things were good today - both on the food and exercise front. Hopefully this will make up for the cake and other lovely sweet food I ate over the weekend.
Food:
Breakfast: Optifast chocolate shake
Lunch: Optifast cappuccino bar and veggies
Afternoon: Optifast chocolate shake
Dinner: Vegetable stir fry
Drinks: water, black tea (light milk)
Exercise:
40 mins at the gym - 22 mins on the cross trainer (mainly on level 10), 18 minutes on the treadmill (mainly walking at between 6 and 6.5km/hr, with a 5 min jog in the middle - 8.5km/hr).
