Day Sixty-Five

DAY SIXTY-FIVE

Friday, Friday, Friday... whatever will I do with you. I didn't put in my best efforts today, but I tried really hard in the given circumstances. I went straight from work to a function to help out my Mum which went until about 9pm. During the course of the function I was absolutely ravenous (having not eaten since noon) and ended up snacking on some of the food on offer.

While the food I ate wasn't Optifast friendly, I didn't eat much of it. I know that may not sound like much of a consolation but it was a big thing for me. In the past where I've been at an event with lots of finger food I would have totally gorged myself. Whereas here, I only had maybe 4 serves of finger food. Maybe I'm learning something after all...

Food:

Breakfast: Optifast chocolate shake
Lunch: Optifast cappuccino bar
Afternoon: A few rice crackers and wasabi peas
Dinner (at function): 1 arancini ball, 1 piece of mini bruschetta, 2 mini vegetarian pizzas
Evening: optifast chocolate bar and diet jelly (my stomach was growling!)
Drinks: water, 3 small glasses of wine

Exercise:

None, but I did have to run around lots helping out at the function.
